Alluring Glass installs custom glass railings for homeowners throughout Greater Cincinnati & Dayton, OH and Northern Kentucky. Every pane is built to fit your specific needs and stand the test of time

Glass railings work well for interior staircases, balconies, raised decks, and open mezzanines. We offer several system styles based on your preferred attachment method:
Tell us where the railing goes and we'll recommend the right system for it. Reach out for a free consultation and we'll get your measurements on the books.

All railing panels must meet Ohio building codes for guardrail systems. We use tempered glass as the standard for impact resistance, or laminated glass for added retention if damage occurs. We match the glass thickness to your railing's height and span to ensure stability under regular contact. Every applicable safety requirement is confirmed during our site visit before any materials are ordered.
The mounting hardware connects the panels directly to your deck or floor framing. Before we begin, we inspect the framing beneath every mounting area to ensure a secure anchor. Because Ohio’s freeze-thaw cycles stress low-grade fittings, we only use weather-rated stainless steel hardware. We offer various hardware finishes to match your home's design details, all of which are reviewed during the planning phase.

We have been in the glass business since 2007, backed by 25 years of hands-on industry experience. We serve both the Greater Cincinnati and Greater Dayton metros from two locations. Every project starts with a site visit where we check the actual conditions. We do not quote from photos. Our crew is fully licensed and insured, and we keep the job site clean from start to finish. We care about the details after the sale just as much as before it. That means strong communication, reliable timelines, and work we stand behind long after install day.
We serve the full Greater Cincinnati and Greater Dayton metros, including the surrounding communities in both regions.

Post-mounted systems use vertical posts with clamps that hold the glass between them. You can see the posts along the run. Base-mounted systems use a channel along the floor or deck edge that holds the bottom of the glass. Base-mounted shows less hardware and gives a cleaner look.
Yes, but we inspect the deck framing first. Older decks may need additional support at the mounting points before hardware can be anchored correctly. We check the structure during the site visit and let you know if any prep work is needed.
Yes. Ohio building codes require tempered safety glass for guardrail systems. We confirm all applicable code requirements for your specific application before fabrication starts.
Wipe panels with a soft cloth and a gentle glass cleaner to remove dust and prints. Ohio's pollen season can leave a film on outdoor glass, so clean more often in spring. Check hardware once or twice a year and clear any debris from base channels or around clamp points.
